Just a Thought
My debut poetry book, Just a Thought, is an inside look at the inner workings of my mind. Published in 2012, it’s collection of 100 poems, mostly written throughout my teen years, it covers loss, love, friendship and finding one’s self. Whether light or deep in tone, each poem is filled with heart and soul, is easy to read and very relateable. A great read for anyone, from all walks of life, Just a Thought is a refreshing change from the works of poetry of the past.
2018 has been a year of change for my writing journey. I decided to make writing a priority, proved its importance by going to the Bali Writer’s Retreat, and now I have a much clearer idea of what I want for my books in the future. With that said, a change to Just a Thought’s availability has been made.
In short, due to the direction I will be taking with my future novels/poetry books moving forward, I have terminated my contract with the publishers I used for Just a Thought. This has nothing to do with the company, but solely because that part of my journey no longer aligns with what I want for my books in the future.
What does this mean for Just a Thought?
Just a Thought is no longer available for print- i.e. (theoretically) you can’t order it online. That said, any existing copies (inc. second-hand copies) could still be in circulation (and available for purchase). Some sites may also keep any profiles they have for JAT on their site, so they can sell any s/h copies they acquire in the future.
GET YOUR COPY FROM ME! I still have a limited stock of JAT. So, if you’re after a copy- maybe even a signed one- make sure to send me a message expressing your interest. Copies are now $20 AUD (+ p&h). That’s 30% off!
